Minimum Age: 21
Virginia requires all tobacco and nicotine purchasers to be at least 21 years old — consistent with federal law. We ID for every tobacco purchase, no exceptions. Bring a valid government-issued photo ID.
Virginia Cigarette Tax
Virginia's state cigarette tax is $0.60 per pack of 20. Arlington County adds a local tax of $0.40 per pack. Total combined tax: $1.00 per pack at our location. This is well below DC ($5.07) and Maryland ($5.00).
Who Can Buy Here?
Any adult who is 21 or older can purchase cigarettes at Burn & Brew regardless of state of residence. There are no Virginia residency requirements for retail purchases. You just need to be old enough and have valid ID.
Online Orders & Delivery
Cigarette delivery sales in Virginia are heavily regulated — they involve age verification, carrier restrictions, registration, and reporting requirements. Burn & Brew is a walk-in retail store only. We do not offer online ordering or delivery.
Quantity Limits
Virginia law does not restrict the quantity of cigarettes a retail customer can purchase for personal use. However, resale of cigarettes without a license is prohibited. We sell for personal use only.
